We are H.C. "Tommy" and Bonny Jean Thomas and we will be your Innkeepers and Hosts during your stay at Hidden Hollow!
Hospitality is a genuine joy for us! We bought "the Hollow" over thirty years ago and have enjoyed the opportunity to add a little bit here and there to make your stay more enjoyable. We hope you will take advantage of a nice relaxing walk around the lake or a lively game of volleyball or badminton. Take time to look over the memorabilia-filled walls between "sets" at the Dancing Bear Music Hall or just enjoy sitting and visiting on the porch of the Inn or one of the cabins. While you are here, spend a few moments to reflect at the new "Fishermen's Chapel".
We have been blessed to have our family and friends around us most of our life. We have been active in square dancing, clogging, folk dancing and "calling" dances for many years. We still keep up with friends from all over the country with whom we enjoyed a night or two promenading around the dance halls. We're still active in "calling" hoedowns and folk games all around our area or elsewhere and we even "call" special hoedowns at some of the local nursing homes!
Faith, Family and Country have always been important to us. We're active in our local Church, Chickamauga Presbyterian Church and try to be good neighbors and citizens. We raised our four children, Bonny Bell, Sally, Tommy and Chip, nearby on Signal Mountain, Tennessee and enjoy having them around as much as possible. It's not unusual to see at least one of our children and several grandchildren visiting, playing, working, or doing something around the property (and we love it!). Our daughter Sally directs Camp Hidden Hollow, a day camp for boys and girls, on the property for two weeks during the summer. What a blessing to watch those kids have so much fun!
We have dreamed and worked for many years to have a place like this to show hospitality. Many families just come down to relax; others to reflect; and others to rejoice! Over the years we have hosted Hoe Downs, weddings, honeymooners, family vacations, family reunions, retreats, youth groups, school groups, church groups, company parties, birthday parties and just plain parties. If you have a special event coming up, we hope you will consider Hidden Hollow.
Many guests have become our good friends. We hope you will too! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Hidden Hollow Resort
The Thomases can take groups of any size, with or without previous dancing experience, and keep them entertained with an "ice-breaking" evening of audience participation folk dancing for clubs, churches, schools, family and school reunions, company outings, conventions, and more. School field trips are a specialty. The Thomases will also travel to your location.
