CABINS
The small quaint country inn and cozy log cabins are of trees from Hidden Hollow's
own woods. Quilts on the beds and braided rugs on the wooden floors add to the
charm. There are cooking facilities, outdoor grills, and picnic shelters. Some
accommodations have sleeping lofts. Most have fireplaces. Your comfort is important...Enjoy
the great porches, lawn games and revel in the peace and quiet. There are no
bedside telephones to jangle you out of your relaxation, but there is a centrally
located phone when you need it. Though there are no TVs, you are welcome to
bring your own TV/VCR if you wish.
The cabins are non-smoking, and pets are not allowed.
Hickory Hall Country Inn (Log)
A large cabin with wrap-around porch overlooking the lake and with a view of Lookout Mountain:
Room #1 - One queen bed, private bath, refrigerator, Mr. Coffee, AC. Rental
$78 for two, $8 each additional person.
Room #2 - Two double beds, private bath, refrigerator, Mr. Coffee,
AC. Rental $78 for two, $8 each additional person.
Room #3 - Large bedroom with queen bed, cots, private bath, sitting room, gas
log fireplace, refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, Mr. Coffee, bar sink,
AC and ceiling fans. No stove or eating utensils. Rental $98 for two, $8 each additional person.
Rental of entire Inn - $198 for six, $8 each additional person.
Tanglewood Cabin (Log)
Three small bedrooms, two with double beds, one with four bunks, sleeping
loft with double bed and single bed, log burning fireplace, kitchenette, 1-1/2
baths, porch, central heat and air. Rental $98 for two, $8 for each additional
person.
Sleepy Hollow (Log)
Small cabin. sitting room with gas log fireplace, kitchen nook and bath on
first floor. Loft bedroom reached by ladder-like steps, two porches (top level screened in), AC and
ceiling fan. Popular with honeymooners and anniversary couples. Rental $88 for two.
Lullwater Cabin (Frame)
An older remodeled cabin. Living room with gas log fireplace, two bedrooms,
one with double bed, two with twin beds, bunkroom with six bunks, full kitchen,
two baths, large screened porch, AC and ceiling fan, also big covered deck. Rental $98 for two, $8
each additional person.
Wilderness Mountain
For those who wish to rough it. One-room screened-in cabins with
ceiling fans and 10 bunk beds each. Good for youth groups, families, etc. Shower
house with hot water, picnic shelter, and campfire area. No linens, paperware,
or cooking utensils furnished. Rental $48 per cabin for one to five people, plus $8 each additional person.
Mill House Cabin
Cozy, quaint, romantic. Called Thornton's Mill because of the mill's earlier location on the property. It's on the creek by the lake. Couples in the small cabin will be treated to the sound of water rushing and splashing on stones into the creek. Full-size bed, quaint little fireplace, screened-in porch. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, outside grill, picnic table and campfire. Rental $88 for one or two people.
